Got to bing Mike home around 1:00 this afternoon.  After he was cleared by Dr...it was almost 3 hours before the paper work came up to release him...but all is well right now.  Again thanks for all your prayers.

Mike just called after the Dr left and it looks like Mike might get to come home tomorrow...boy this has been a long haul.  Your prayers and concerns have been greatly appreciated.

Cindy took our two youngest to a food truck/ art fair tonight.  They are having a great time.

2nd day in hospital...right leg very swollen and extremely red.  They are calling it cellulitis and told me today that he will probably be in the rest of this week.  They are treating him with very heavy antibiotics and he actually is a little improved today.  The best news today is that he does not have blood clots.  Prayers really appreciated.

Just wanted to let you all know that I had to admit Mike to the hospital today around noon.  I'll keep you posted as I get some answers....he will probably be a stay for 3-5 days

I sure am thinking about sweet Patsy tonight and would love to talk to her about her insight and thoughts about the absolutely dirty politics that Trump is playing scarier each day.  I hope people wake up and realize he has 42 pending law suits against him that will not go away.  That his supporters are calling for Hillary's assassination...Grandpa Powell would have said pray for our country because going Trump way is Hell in a Handbasket.  I am beyond worried.

Today was William Jewell's Homecoming an we had a beautiful day.  I was in good enough shape to walk around with my cane.  We just had the best day!

Busy, Busy weekend...Paxton's team won their homecoming game and Sam played at half time.  Then Sat morning Sam marched in the Gladfest parade.  Saturday afternoon Tanner tested for brown belt in Karate....whew

We have stayed in on this rainy night and had pizza.  Sam didn't have to play because it is an away game, but Pax is playing and grandpa is watching the game on tv.  I really don't worry about Pax to much...he usually doesn't play.  Also tonight...Cindy started decorating for fall.

Today is last day of antibiotic and my horrible yeast infection is clearing up.  Today I actually drove and took myself to out patient therapy.  Things are getting better and I really want to thank you all for the kind words and prayers.  I'm going to try and take a picture of my healing knee...it is very tight, but not much pain any more. 

Got to go to my regular MD this morning...I told her I thought I just needed her to hold my hand because I was falling apart.  She said my knee looks great and she thought the swelling in my face wasn't too bad.  It seems what I now have is a horrible yeast infection...I have a place on my belly about the size of a football that just looks and feels scalded.  I'm so glad I was able to get into my Dr this morning and now I just know I will be on the mend...thanks for your loving prayers!

I really am not doing well health wise...Wednesday I had to have my tooth extracted.  So much infection....we have to be careful the infection does not go to my knee.  I really still feel awful...need all your prayers please.

Home Health came today for the last time....next Tuesday I start out patient therapy.  Almost seeing light at the end of this.  Today I actually got to drive for the first time in six weeks... WENT AND GOT MY HAIR CUT.....YIPPEE‼️

Senior Year

Tonight was Paxton's first game...they were leading 27 - 7 with a rain delayed continuance tomorrow.

I find it beyond sad that anyone can support trump....it use to be called treason when you call for someone to assassinate someone running for President.?How DARE HIM!!!!! I heard him say it....it is not the interaputation by a newscaster or a journalist.

Almost a week...the pain just keeps coming and going.  Sure be glad when this passes😢

Finally Home

I had a partial knee replacement on Wednesday morning.  They let me come home last night around 6:30.

Kind of not as painful today and glad it is over.
